DMCA Copyright Policy
4-Share respects intellectual property rights and expects its users to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512.
Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe content hosted on 4-Share infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated agent with all of the following:
- Your full legal name and contact information (address, phone, email).
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The exact URL(s) of the allegedly infringing material on 4-Share.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your electronic or physical signature.
Send your notice to our Support Center (select the "Abuse / DMCA" category).
Counter-Notices
If you believe material was removed by mistake, you may submit a counter-notice. Counter-notices must comply with 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3). Repeat infringers' accounts will be terminated.
Response Time
We process valid DMCA notices within 2 business days. Infringing content is removed or disabled promptly upon verification.
